MOSS

自然と人工物の境界が曖昧になった風景を探るシリーズ。

コンクリート、廃木材、そして苔。それぞれを異なる役割としてではなく、時間の痕跡を宿すひとつの素材として捉えている。作品は自然と人工物の対立を描くものではない。時間の流れの中で互いが溶け合い、新たな風景へと変化していく静かな瞬間を形にしている。

また、多くの作品ではコンクリートと木材の間にあえて空間を設けている。二つの素材を直接結び付けるのではなく、それぞれが独立した存在として在りながら、一つの風景として静かに関係し合う状態を表現している。

MOSS is a series that explores landscapes where the boundary between the natural and the artificial becomes indistinct.

Concrete, reclaimed wood, and moss are treated not as materials with separate roles, but as elements that each bear the traces of time. Rather than presenting nature and human-made structures in opposition, the works capture quiet moments in which they gradually merge, giving rise to new landscapes.

Many of the works intentionally incorporate a space between the concrete and the wood. Rather than directly joining the two materials, this distance allows each to retain its own presence while quietly existing in relation to the other, forming a single landscape.
